"An early boring show that's more concerned with the moral than being funny. I always skip over this one. Opie acting too smart, too cute, and Andy not acting like enough of an adult. Way too sappy and silly. " - Ken from New Jersey

"it's hard to say, there were so many good parts, where opie say's he's not sure about pushing the sheriff's car so "i'm not gonna push very hard" the great moral lesson where Andy teachs opie how and when rules need to be bent a little the scene where barney gets to be the justice of the peace the cute kid who played tex and his scenes with Andy and many more, it's one of the best " - steve from la

"A bit boring for TAGS but it does set a slightly good example thru Andy as always. A lot of parents don't know how to love their children. Many care only for themselves. When I was young, I remember seeing runaway kids hanging out at the beaches years ago who came from broken homes, divorces, etc., seeking "father-like" or "mother-like" friends but probably only finding biker gangs, drug pushers, criminals, etc. I hope today that kids and parents alike can learn from Andy and go to church. "This episode is really funny! I liked the beginning where Barney gives Andy a ticket for parking in front of the fire plug, and when he walks up on the porch with the drawing, and when George said "Nobody would ever tell a cowboy to pick up his toys."" - Megan from
