" This story provides the lesson that a person shouldn't meddle in other peoples' personal matters. When Barney becomes upset with Thelma Lou, stating that maybe she wasn't meant for him, Andy innocently agrees. However, he didn't know that Barney would quote him to Thelma Lou. "Let's don't get upset by a comment made by some third party."" - r.p. from VA

"I agree with the person who said they liked the "couples" episodes. This is one of the best! My favorite part is when Andy & Helen, Barney & Thelma Lou have made up at the end . Does anyone know where I can get a recording of Andy singing "I wish I was a red rosy bush" to Helen? I like the song so much that its part of my email address, as you notice." - Melody Carter from Lafayette, Georgia

"I loved this episode! It illustrates two things very well: First, how people's words get twisted and turn around to bite their own behind. Second, how well Andy and Barney played off of one another. I have always been a fan of the show's "couples" shows that put Andy and his girlfriends together with Barney and Thelma Lou in different situations. This episode does not disappoint." - Kim from Lafayette, Louisiana
